Test one drop of oil on the inside of your arm for sensitivity. If the area feels warm or reddens, add the V-6 vegetable oil to dilute it. The soles of the feet are a good place to start as you begin working with essential oils, especially for children. When using oils on young children in a place other than the feet, dilute with V-6 when using the first time.
Raven contains lemon oil. Any citrus oils applied to the skin should not be exposed to sunlight as they intensify the sun and can burn the skin. However, Raven gets applied under clothes or night clothes, so this is not usually a concern (unless you live in a year-round warm climate).
